Karachi (News Plus Online) Sindh Provincial Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the situation in Korona is very worrying and that is why we have to take tough decisions. If complete lockdown is to be avoided, the government's recommendations should be followed.
In a video statement after the Provincial Task Force meeting, Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that the use of masks is very important and everyone will have to wear masks. From 6 pm to 6 pm, it has to be implemented with SOPs, private offices are not implementing it and even 50% attendance is not being implemented, from where such complaints are received. So it will be dealt with severely.
The provincial minister said that all public and private institutions related to the health sector are exempt from these restrictions but they will definitely implement the SOPs and their attendance will remain at 100 percent. The heads of all departments can summon any employee if required. Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that inter-city public transport has been completely banned since yesterday. Public transport within cities can operate with 50% capacity following SOPs, violators will be severely punished while inter-provincial transport (between provinces) is also being shut down. Transporters are requested not to drive their vehicles.
